Pellini at Exposanità to reveal the latest innovation from the ScreenLine world

From 11 to 13 May Pellini is attending Exposanità (BolognaFiere, hall 25, stand C93), the event dedicated to the world of healthcare and medical assistance. This is a perfect opportunity not only to reaffirm the adequacy of ScreenLine solutions to meet the requirements of the healthcare world, as testified, amongst others, by thousands of hospitals around the world that have already chosen the systems patented by Pellini, but primarily to introduce the latest innovation having healthcare facilities as its perfect field of application.

As a preview for the Italian market, Pellini will present ScreenView®, the shading system for internal doors and windows that responds to the monitoring, privacy and hygiene needs typical of hospitals, putting the benefits of insulating glass at their service.

ScreenView consists of a series of 35-mm aluminium slats integrated within an insulating glass unit with 16--mm airspace or between two glass panes that, via a knob magnetic control device, slide one over the other to open and close the blind. Raising the slats allows the passage of light and the view through the glass whereas closing the slats prevents both actions, guaranteeing privacy and avoiding light transmission.

It is an ideal solution for portholes and vision panels of hospital room, ward and corridor doors or for the glazed surfaces partitioning the internal spaces of healthcare structures. With ScreenView, operators can, for instance, check the occupancy status of the room or patients’ conditions without opening the door and therefore without disturbing their rest, or allow relatives to view newborns in nurseries from the outside and then close the blind when quietness is required.

ScreenView is a significant opportunity to improve the performance of staff activities, increasing the comfort level as well as sanitary conditions. The insulation guaranteed by double glazing ensures total protection against dirt, dust or weather conditions, making maintenance unnecessary. The control knob of ScreenView is equipped with the patented Sanitized® antimicrobial finish which, by means of silver ions used as active biocidal substance, protects the device from odours caused by bacteria and supports normal cleaning operations with a lasting protective action.

Exposanità is therefore a perfect stage for ScreenView, a solution developed by Pellini’s R&D department that was made possible by the encounter between experience with healthcare structures, consideration of the needs of Facility and Health & Safety managers and the thirty-year long development of ScreenLine systems. A combination that generated a solution capable of improving both the work of healthcare professionals and the comfort of patients.
