ScreenView® is the ScreenLine solar shading system integrated within an insulating glass unit for interior windows, combining the monitoring, privacy, and hygiene needs typical of hospitals, schools, and laboratories and offering them the benefits of being encapsulated in the glass.
ScreenView consists of a series of 35-mm aluminium slats integrated within a 16-mm insulating glass unit or between two glass panes. These slats, activated by a magnetic knob, slide over each other, opening and closing the blind. Opening the slats allows light and a view through the glass, whilst closing them prevents both, ensuring privacy and blocking light transmission.
Quick and effortless darkening effect
The system is an ideal solution for portholes and vision panels on doors in patient rooms, wards, and corridors, or on partition walls dividing the interior spaces of healthcare facilities. With ScreenView, operators can, for example, check whether patients are in the room without opening the door, thus avoiding disturbing their rest. It also allows relatives to admire newborns in the nursery from the outside, allowing medical staff to close the blind when necessary to ensure maximum peace and quiet.
Hygiene and safety
ScreenView can help to improve workflow and enhance comfort while enhancing hygiene and sanitation at the same time. The insulation provided by the glass protects the blind, prevents the accumulation of dirt and dust, and eliminates any maintenance. These benefits are supported by the patented Sanitized® antimicrobial treatment on the control knob, which, thanks to silver borophosphate glass used as an active biocidal substance, protects the device from odours caused by bacteria and supports regular cleaning operations with long-lasting protection. As an option, a lever control and a safety knob are also available, the latter equipped with a key for exclusive use by hospital staff.
